FOODTEX® Oils and Greases

Foodtex Food Safe Oils are based on a highly refined high viscosity NSF approved pure white oil, compounded with the most advanced additives which are non-toxic. Foodtex Oils are available as Lubricating oil, Gear oil, Chain oil or Hydraulic oil.

Foodtex Oils have been formulated to produce a clean oil, which will resist water, fruit and vegetable juices, brine and aqueous solutions of chemicals, acids and alkalis. A rust and corrosion inhibitor is included together with a multifunctional additive to reduce friction and wear to an absolute minimum.

Foodtex Oils will ensure the efficient operation and prolong the life of the machinery’s hydraulic systems within the food processing and packaging and also the textile, sewing and hosiery industries. Foodtex Oils are available in grades of ISO 15 to ISO 460.

Foodtex EP Grease is a non-melt, non-toxic, waterproof high performance EP product. It has been developed to ensure the most efficient operation of plant processing and packaging foodstuffs.

Specifically refined white oil compounded with an inert non-soap base, contains the most advance multifunctional additives which give EP and anti-wear properties and inhibit rust and corrosion. Foodtex EP Grease is completely resistant to water and steam. It is not affected by acids, alkalis or by aqueous solutions of most chemicals. The grease resists fruit and vegetable juices and it gives protection from brine.

Foodtex EP Grease is exceptionally stable and long lasting, so that the application of the minimum amount is both economical and reduces the possibility of contamination. The special properties of Foodtex EP Grease make it suitable for a wide range of applications including lubrication of textile machinery.
